I know what you're thinking... where did my beard go??
I told myself that once I reached a goal weight of mine, that I would cut off my beard. I've been working on losing weight for a while now and finally reached my goal. That beard was 4 years old almost to the day. I'm both glad and sad to see it gone.
Double deck and single deck are dealt in the exact same manner as shown here. However; casinos also commonly hold the deck in-hand but then lay the cards face-up similar to shoe. Every casino has different rules so keep this in mind.
When it comes to dealing a pitch-style game, remember:
- Walk your game
- Keep the deck up high until a card is needed, then lower your hand.
- Never bend your wrist while dealing or you may get hurt in the long-term.
- Having small hands is no excuse to not deal this style of game.
Although this is a dying style of dealing, there are still numerous casinos out here in Las Vegas that employ this method of dealing; it's still good to know either way.
